How do I maintain a Quooker system?
A Quooker system does not require preventive maintenance. However, if you live in an area with hard water, the Quooker system will require some attention during its lifetime.
Descaling the tap aerator
When you notice that the flow of boiling water slows down, remove the nozzle and soak the aerator in cleaning vinegar for about one hour. Then rinse off the limescale and screw the nozzle with the aerator inside, back onto the tap. This should increase the water flow.
Servicing
Cleaning the tap
We would like to ensure your tap is always kept in the best condition. As every finish requires its own special treatment, we have outlined advice for all the different finishes.
We strongly advise against the use of other cleaning agents (e.g. anti-scale agents, abrasives and vinegar) and scouring pads. These can affect the coating of parts and the grease in the tap, which ensures that all parts move smoothly.
